Sunengy Pty Limited is a private company incorporated in 2005 operating out of Sydney, Australia and has developed and patented Liquid Solar Array (LSA) concentrated solar power collector. The company intends to carry out product designing & modeling activities in house, incorporating contracted specialists and consultants; and license manufacturing and distribution globally. Sunengy if focused on providing clean energy with fossil fuel price parity.

Mr. Philip Connor:
LSA inventor and Technology Director. Phil is a scientist and engineer based in Sydney, Australia who conducts innovative research and development in a variety of fields including solar energy. He gained an Electrical Engineering degree, Sydney University, 1973; Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of New South Wales, 1982; spent seven years at Macquarie University conducting research into speech and music using Fourier analysis and development of a fast digital signal processor. Currently eighteen years with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) developing electro-optical instruments for the remote sensing and classification of minerals for the mining industry using spectroscopy. Phil has had a 45 year passion for solar power and embraces a very thorough understanding of solar technologies.
Mr. Peter Wakeman:
Financial Director. Peter has a strong business background. He has extensive experience in human resources; business analysis and development; sales and marketing. Peter is Chairman of the Hunter Trade College and has a trade background in ship’s plumbing; he has also held other Chair and National Marketing Executive positions. From December 1997 – January 2009 Peter was a partner and General Manager of a very successful company employing 55 full time staff with an annual turnover of $37M.
Mr. Bruce Robinson:
Bruce has a first-class honors degree in physical chemistry. He has worked at CSIRO in mineral exploration research. Bruce has studied forecasts of a coming decline in world oil production since 1996 and has presented a number of papers on the topic. He has been invited to speak on “The Impact of Oil Depletion on Australia” in Lisbon in May 2005 and at the International conferences in Beijing, Kyoto and Perth.
Mr. Bob Sutton:
Bob is a retired engineer and is New South Wales President of Australian & New Zealand Solar Energy Society.

Bruce is the founder and CEO of management consultancy The Friday Group Pty Ltd which he launched after four years as a partner of a technology consulting and commercialization firm. Prior to this Bruce joined Spencer Stuart in 1997 from the international advertising and recruitment firm Austin Knight Pty Ltd, where he held the role of Managing Director. Prior to that Bruce was a Regional VP with Memorex Telex. Bruce’s career began at IBM and has included founding and selling a number of companies in IT, marketing and technical services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Sydney, a number of community leadership roles, and sits on the North Sydney Council Environment Reference Group. Bruce brings a range of business advisory skills to Sunengy.
Nick James
Nick is the co-founder and a Director of Optim Legal, an innovative, law firm staffed exclusively by top tier experienced lawyers which focuses on serving the cleantech and new media industries. Nick’s experience includes five years as a solicitor in Freehills and Allens and three years as a freelance litigation project manager for various corporate and law firm clients. Nick has a First Class Honours Law degree from the University of Melbourne and worked for a year as an Associate to Justice Michael Kirby (AC, CMG) of the Australian High Court. Nick brings his experience as an entrepreneur and his contacts in the clean tech industry to the advisory board at Sunengy.
Paul Topfer
Mr Paul Topfer has extensive experience in the electricity industry having held senior positions for electricity distribution and construction businesses. Previous roles have covered finance and accounting, regulation, business development, strategy, marketing and pricing. Paul was also CEO of an electricity and communications infrastructure construction company employing 180 people, and a senior management consultant in the energy and utilities industry. Paul has a Business degree from UTS, majoring in business administration and economics, with further qualifications in finance and a detailed knowledge of electricity market regulations.

Phil Jenkinson:
Contracted Model Design. Phil has 26 years of mechanism and product design experience with 10 years designing on CAD (AutoCAD r 13, CadKey and Solidworks). He has a thorough approach to design, development documentation and production. Phil focuses on innovation and simplicity of design; he has a wide knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding and modern sheet metal work processes.
Tibor Fekete:
Contracted Manufacture Agent. Tibor is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and tool making with a broad range of materials. He operates a company through a manager in China were he sources manufactured goods. Tibor is very competent at sourcing quality components at very competitive prices and is experienced in international transportation and logistics.
